American actress Alexandra Hetherington Breckenridge. She started her acting career by playing supporting roles in the teen-oriented films Big Fat Liar (2002, 2006) and She's the Man (2006). On the FX series Dirt she was Willa McPherson as a reporter. She also played the role of a support character on the short-lived series The Ex List. In the premiere season, she was in the role of Moira O'Hara as an untried Moira and in the second season, she played Kaylee. She was Jessie Anderson's character on the AMC series The Walking Dead. Sophie was her role in the NBC series This Is Us. She also voices of various characters in the comedy show Family Guy. Since the year 2019, she has appeared as Melinda "Mel" Monroe in the Netflix series Virgin River. Breckenridge was born in Darien, Connecticut, until when she was 10 when she and her mom moved to California. They lived for a year before eventually settling in Mill Valley. Breckenridge was 13 when she first began to pursue an interest in photography, acting and singing. Breckenridge moved back to Los Angeles with the help from her mother around the age of 15.
