Ashley Graham was born in Lincoln, Nebraska. Two of her sisters were raised together, and she was regularly bullied at school because of the size of her thighs. Graham rapidly gained fame and is now considered one of America's top model models of the plus size category. Grande started acting and singing when she was very young. Her first appearance was a minor performance in Broadway's show 13 in 2008. Soon after she was acting in various television programs. In 2010, she received her first big break when she got a role on the Nickelodeon show Victorious. She appeared as Cat Valentine, a teenager studying at a school for performing arts. The sitcom ended up being cancelled 2013 she starred in a spin-off series Sam & Cat (2013-14).
